Homemade ravioli. I’m sure all of you know the saying “you can’t judge a book by it’s cover”, and while I usually hate using clichés, I felt that this meal was the epitome of this phrase. It wasn’t that the actual taste was bad, in fact it tasted quite good, rather, it was the texture that caused me great agony. It was in the undesirable zone between hard and chewy, and it was a tad too thick. Let me be clear here, I’m not being overly critical here. Because the texture of the ravioli was unpleasant, it distracted me from the actual taste.
