After a one failed attempt, Sam has successfully poached an egg, and it was worth it. Here’s a trick, if your eggs aren’t fresh, put them, in their shell, into the simmering water for around 10 seconds. Besides that, the rest of the process consist of nervously watching the egg poach. The classic way to utilize a poached egg is in eggs Benedict, but since I was short on time and Canadian bacon, I opted to just have it on toast with salt and pepper, and it was delicious. A poached egg is one of those things that when done right, embellishing is not always the best way. It’s the purest approach to food once again coming though.
