Tonight’s dinner: carne asada burritos. The meat was from a different Mexican meat market(I’ll fill you in when I find out the respective names), and there was definitely a noticeable difference in the taste; it was a bit thinner, flakey and reminded me of shawarma (which is not a compliment when describing Mexican food). The beans also tasted different, but in a positive sense. I can’t pinpoint exactly what was different in the taste, but it was almost as if they were “warmer” and “fuller”.
